Susanne Kennedy
Susanne Kennedy studied directing at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Amsterdam. As a young director she worked in the Netherlands and Belgium. Since 2014 she works mainly in Germany. In 2017 she received the XIV Europen Prize Theatrical Realities. In recent years, she has been based at Volksbühne Berlin and Münchner Kammerspiele and created “ULTRAWORLD”, “COMING SOCIETY and the upcoming “JESSICA” together with the visual artist Markus Selg. Distorted by masks, playback dialogue, doppelgängers and multimedia, the actors confront the audience with the question: what does it mean to be human?
