Isaac Kariuki

Isaac Kariuki is a visual artist whose work centres on surveillance, borders and the black market. His work takes the form of image, video and performance. He holds an MA from Central Saint Martins. He is the founder of Diaspora Drama, a three-part publication about fringe internet culture. He has exhibited at the Tate Modern and the ICA among others and has held lectures at the Tate Britain and Kunstgewerbemuseum. He has written for publications including Dazed, New York Magazine and Garage Magazine.





Juxtapositions. Perspectives on Contemporary Cultural Production is a public lecture series hosted by Prof. Lukas Feireiss for Studium Generale at Berlin University of the Arts since 2021.
