Ute Meta Bauer

Ute Meta Bauer is a professor at NTU School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), and Founding Director of the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore. Since three decades she works as a curator, editor and educator, including for Documenta11 and the 3rd berlin biennale for contemporary art. Currently she curates the Singapore National Pavilion, 59th Venice Art Biennale featuring artist Shubigi Rao and the17th Istanbul Biennale with David Teh and Amar Kanwar. Her most recent edited book Climates. Habitats. Environments., co-published by NTU CCA Singapore and MIT Press, is released April 2022.





Juxtapositions. Perspectives on Contemporary Cultural Production is a public lecture series hosted by Prof. Lukas Feireiss for Studium Generale at Berlin University of the Arts since 2021.
